Disastercake

It's the 19th of April and we are getting 5-8 inches of snow. All while it is thunder and lightening. Thunder Snow = WIN! Also, today has been one year since little Savannah Rose passed away after bringing her friends and family 1045 days of pure happiness. We miss you angel <3 I am doing everything my poem "Flowers to Heaven" talks about so I woke up early enough to be at the beach and sunrise and sent up white balloons with a pink rose. It was gorgeous. The sunrise was hot pink and purple.

So yesterday was rather nasty weather for the first day of spring. It was below freezing, snowed, sleeted, was foggy, and poured rain. :no: I cannot complain too much though, because Wednesday and Thursday were more beautiful than I could have imagined, in more ways than just the weather. We had to go to Lansing and the state capitol for school, so we spend all day Wednesday traveling (4+ hours) and half of Thursday at the conference. The weather was close to 70 degrees F, we took our time with everything, got a free room upgrade, wandered the city, rode the city bus (hadn't done that in FOREVER), discovered Insomnia Cookies :cookie:, and had
